Oxygen treatment

Fresh glow and radiant, youthful skin with the power of oxygen

Oxygen treatment represents an innovative cosmetic procedure. After cleansing the face, a CO2 gel is applied to the facial skin, followed by a special sheet mask. When the CO2 gel and the sheet mask come into contact, numerous oxygen-carbon dioxide (CO2) bubbles are formed. Through the exchange of oxygen and the highly elevated CO2 in the tissues, oxygen is greatly enriched in the skin, while the CO2 is transported away through the blood and lymphatic system as well as exhaled through the lungs. This process stimulates metabolism and circulation in the skin. This effect is also known as the Bohr effect.
The CO2 gel is enriched with ingredients such as moisturizing hyaluronic acid, brightening licorice root and healing centella asiatica. Inflammations are effectively alleviated and inhibited, pigment spots are reduced, and wrinkles are evened out. Together with the stimulating effect of oxygen, a rejuvenating anti-aging effect and a radiant, even complexion are created. The treatment stimulates firmness and moisture in the deeper layers of the skin.

Procedure

Cleansing: The treatment begins with a thorough cleansing of the face to remove make-up and excess sebum.

Peeling: After cleansing, a gentle peeling can be used to remove dead skin cells and prepare the skin for oxygenation. This peeling is gently massaged into the skin and then rinsed off.

Oxygen application: The actual step of the oxygen treatment involves applying the CO2 gel enriched with ingredients to the skin and placing the special sheet mask on top. Once both components come into contact, numerous CO2 bubbles are generated, which are then exchanged with oxygen in the skin. This allows a significant amount of oxygen to penetrate the skin bubbles. Our red blood cells contain hemoglobin, or blood pigment, which binds CO2 up to 10,000 times stronger than oxygen. In tissues where there is a high level of CO2, the blood cells absorb the CO2 and release a large amount of oxygen into the tissues, known as the Bohr effect.

Massage: After the oxygen application, a relaxing facial massage can be performed. This massage serves to relax the muscles, promote blood circulation, and further absorption of the applied ingredients.

Final step: At the end of the treatment, a moisturizing or protective cream is applied to soothe and protect the skin. In any case, we apply sun protection individually selected for you, because the topic of sun protection is extremely important to us.
