Dr. Alma Sabic

After completing my studies at the Medical University of Graz, I first trained as a general practitioner in various clinics in Styria. I then worked as a radiology resident at Landesklinikum Leoben, where I gained extensive knowledge and experience in ultrasound diagnostics.

Throughout my diverse clinical work, I developed a deep passion for dermatology – a versatile and innovative field with intersections across nearly all areas of medicine.
I completed my specialist training in dermatology and venereology at Landesklinikum Wiener Neustadt, where I later worked as a senior physician for one year.

My areas of expertise include dermatological laser medicine, phlebology (vein medicine), and pediatric dermatology. By attending numerous congresses of the German and Swiss laser societies, as well as through specialized training and observerships – including at the laser outpatient clinic of AKH Vienna, the laser department of the University Hospital Zurich, and Hautwerk in Zurich – I have continuously deepened my knowledge in laser medicine. In May 2025, I plan to complete an additional observership at the Vein Competence Center of the University Hospital Lübeck to further expand my expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of venous diseases.

Another key focus of my work is dermatological oncology, particularly skin cancer screening and modern therapeutic approaches for chronic inflammatory skin diseases such as psoriasis and atopic dermatitis. During my time at Wiener Neustadt Hospital, I was involved in the care of oncology patients, particularly in the context of immunotherapy and targeted treatments, as well as the management of therapy-related side effects.

Continuous education and professional development are essential to me – both professionally and personally. My goal is to always stay at the forefront of medical research to provide my patients with the best possible care.

In addition to German and English, I also speak my native language, Bosnian.

I am excited to join the dermatology team at 'Medizin am Hauptbahnhof' as a specialist in dermatology starting in April 2025. A holistic approach, individualized therapy concepts, and state-of-the-art treatment options are my priorities – because my mission is to guide you toward healthy skin so that you feel completely comfortable in it!
