At the beginning of my studies, my goal was dermatology. In addition, I also wanted to acquire a broad medical knowledge, because there are many aspects to consider, especially with skin diseases. I acquired this knowledge during my training as a general practitioner and enhanced it through additional further training. 
My ÖAK diplomas for acupuncture and nutritional medicine allow me to offer you comprehensive treatment. For my work as a dermatologist, my work in the nursing sector during and after my studies was also very enriching. There I acquired a deeper knowledge of wound care and treatment from a different perspective. Today, my patients still benefit from this interdisciplinary experience. A really effective treatment does not only consist of diagnosis and therapy, it is also important to respond to questions, concerns and wishes. My work at the psychosomatic department at the Charité Berlin for several months helped me to train myself especially in this area.
Another professional stay abroad had a great impact on me, not only in my medical but also in my personal development. During a 6-month voluntary service in a small mountain village in Kenya, I learned a lot about everyday life in a completely different environment and how basic medical care works there.
