Laser Treatments

We have the latest and most powerful lasers on the market available in our practice. We are the Austrian reference center for the manufacturer Asclepion Lasers and we also train medical colleagues in handling laser technology.

The word laser stands for "Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation". This means that laser beams are basically electromagnetic waves or amplified light. Every device has a specific spectrum of wavelengths. These wavelengths determine which skin anomaly the laser affects. Devices that target red allow small vessels to be removed. Devices designed for dark colors are suitable for tattoo removal. Again other devices target tissue fluid and reduce scarring. The treatment options are many.

The great advantages of treatment with lasers are that treatments are almost painless, the fast healing process and the almost scar-free or scar-free results. The result is usually better than with surgical treatment or laser treatment is the only possible option, e.g. for tattoo removal.
