Micro-needling uses tiny pricks in the skin to stimulate the body’s own elastin and collagen synthesis to achieve a significantly improved skin appearance. The piercing of the skin surface sets off a cascade that can also be observed in injuries. Immediately after the treatment, the cells release growth factors that stimulate the production of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid. At the same time, fine channels are created for a few minutes, which absorb nutrients such as hyaluronic acid or vitamins etc. up to 80% better and store them in the deeper fibroblasts of the skin. This results in a better supply of the cells in the dermis and the basal layer. The increase in blood flow to the skin results in a better supply of nutrients and a better skin appearance. The skin becomes thicker, the pore size is reduced, the skin appears younger, more even and firmer.
